Marching with the Squirrels

Camden read a certain number of books and earned a ticket to a baseball game as well as the honor of marching in the parade before the game. We met up with some other families from his school, and it was a total blast. Yep. We're the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Woot. It's a minor league team. Nothing too fancy, but it sure was fun!

What?!? My kindergartener is a girl magnet? This was a very enlightening outing for mom and dad.

First Day of Kindergarten?!?!

Wow! Camden is a kindergartner! Crazy, crazy! He is so ready and so excited. The first week went awesome. Here are some shots from the first day. (As soon as I get together enough time and energy, I will put up at least one from my nice camera!)

Cam is learning to swim this summer! T signed him up for lessons during our trip to Denver, and I am going to try to get him into at least one more session in VA before school starts. More pics (and hopefully video!) to come.
